The evolution of A-list was a simple idea of a brick and mortar luxury spa experience in 2012. Shortly after I decided nothing is more luxurious than giving you a one of a kind experience where the client is most comfortable. The thought grew to what are the possibilities when it came to the clients and the specialist.

I saw that every client is different and everyone deserves to feel like they belong on the A-list. From the grandma /grandpa that are unable to drive ;or the mom home with kids and don't want to lug everyone and everything to the salon/barber shop. The idea you could be doing homework and your musses can come to your dorm to help ease all that tension after your studies. Also being able to provide anything related to health and beauty at the tip of anyone's fingers. It was only a drop in the ocean of reasons I saw in the benefits of creating A-list.

When it comes to specialists I want to provide something that companies in the health and beauty don't offer. That was letting the specialist create their own schedule. Being a single mom with a child that needed a lot of attention and assistance it was hard to maintain a steady job in my licensed field. I saw the opportunity to help others like me. Along with other specialists that just wanted that freedom to not be tied down to one location or days.

 Finally, by January 2018 a few days after my birthday I was able to get all the paperwork done and created A-List under my Corporation Artemis Cosmetology Inc. . Then taking any extra time I could muster up being a full time mom to create every detail of the site for the convenience of not just the client but the specialist as well. Giving birth to the idea that everyone can feel like a celebrity in their own right.

 COVID-19 is a challenging time for my family and I, especially with a growing family and the addition of another child in 2020 and 2022. This time of uncertainty provided an opportunity to reflect on what is most important. I've felt an even stronger need to promote self care as this is something I personally struggled with while home trying to balance work and home life. Through building a connection with others that share similar struggle I realized there is a need to find innovative ways that help support selfcare the best I can. One of the most important aspects of my business idea is to take care of, YOU! As we all faced the challenges of a busy calendar or obstacles leaving the house, there is a need for home self care service. Through building a connection of highly trained professionals let us come to you and provide an A-List experience ensuring a worry-free, happy, and health life style.
